DEF-1

DEF-1 for Distortion Eq Filter.
The DEF--1 is a hard clipping distortion with the possibility of mixing between the clean signal and the distorted signal.
At the mixer output the signal goes through a 3-band eq to go into a 24db hi pass filter connect in series to a 24 db lo pass filter.
